Lead QA Automation Engineer (Medical Management sphere)

Common

• Periodic sync with Lead (on customer side) and QA SPOCs (on Coherent side) for sharing information (regression, QA approach improvement etc.);
• Reassignment QA guys between teams to handle possible uneven workload;
• Friday’s Leeds meeting participation;
• Providing estimates for testing tasks/build/regression at customer’s demands;
• Solving possible issues related to testing (progress tracking, improvements solution implementation etc.);
• Automation Framework support and development;
• Provide QA leadership for program/product;
• Challenge when appropriate, offer solutions or coaching help, when needed;
• Solving possible issues related to testing (progress tracking, improvements solution implementation etc.);
• Bring topics for discussion in Mon/Fri QA meetings, offer to share/present on a topic, etc.;
• Participation in meetings with customer’s QA leadership for discussing any architect (automation) solutions;

Release Regression Stage

• Collecting Bugs related to Release and keeping its status up to date;
• Providing regression statistics (bugs, etc.);
• Updating the test plan (before and during regression) to cover gaps and potentially ‘risky’ parts;
• Work with QA SPOCs to build out Release Regression scope prior to the start of testing;
• Partner with QA SPOCs to ensure that our test coverage goes across teams (Big Picture) and is not siloed by teams (Limited View);
• Regression testing coordination between teams;
• Ensure planning & coordination with other teams occurs for our work that impacts them;
• Automation tests fails analysis;
• Coordination with the Performance testing team (setting up schedule of runs, etc.);
• Plan schedule for analysis of Automation tests fails (who will investigate and when);

• Experience working as a QA Automation Engineer;
• Knowledge of listed technologies;
• Fluent English;
