QA Engineer (Hosting domain)

Our client is a leading provider of an enterprise-class data center, cloud, and interconnection services, offering customers 100% uptime availability of data, applications and infrastructure. The company’s managed data center services are anchored in world-class facilities.

Project Description

The project consists of web and desktop applications with integration to third-party services.


The development team is distributed between USA and Belarus. It consists of 2 teams:

  • Main Team that is working on new features and support of desktop and web applications. It consists of 12 developers, 1 manual QA and 2 automation QA.
  • Migration Team that is working on moving to Angular 9. It consists of 7 developers and 5 manual QA.


After migration will be completed, two teams are going to be merged in one. The customer asks to increase the number of QA Engineers and release the developers from testing (developers currently help to test in the main team)


New QA engineers will be working on web and desktop testing, analyzing requirements, writing test cases and support Junior QA.


We managed to build a strong partnership with the customer, their management and their team which allows us to be considered as part of the customer’s team and not just a set of remote resources.


The customer trusts us and our expertise, this allows us to make technical solutions ourselves and plan our work in the way we see it.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze requirements;
  • Write and update test documentation (test cases, check lists);
  • Test web/desktop applications;
  • Participate in analyzing QA metrics;
  • Support Junior QA;

Job Requirements
  • Minimum  2 years of software testing experience;
  • Be able to investigate and analyze complex business logic;
  • Have solid understanding of test documentation organization principles;
  • Know how to create valuable test documentation and support it during its lifetime;
  • Be able to teach others how to write/support valuable test documentation;
  • Ability to communicate with customer both via email and voice is important;
  • English level – Intermeditate;
