ETL Developer (Photography Services)

The company is the leading digital retailer and manufacturer of photo books, gifts, and cards and stationery. It is the largest and most trusted family and school photography company in the U.S.

The project is a long-term initiative to build a Data Warehouse to be a centralized source of data for applications and reporting. The project includes adding new data as well as design/performance improvements. It will require the ability to work directly with customer business users on daily basis.

• Build and maintain Data Warehouse using Microsoft technologies and tools;
• Gather data from different sources like Oracle DB, MySQL DB, MSSQL DB, Flat files, Email Attachments, API calls, etc.;
• Help with building proficient BI solution using the latest modeling techniques covering basic to advanced patterns and best industry practices;
• Investigate the most effective way for creating and configuring the infrastructure;
• Tune the system of deployment and maintenance of ETL process;
• Build efficient and easily modifiable ETL process using the advanced technologies from the Microsoft 2016+ products family;
• Work on performance tuning and improvements;

• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts;
• Strong SQL;
• Previous experience in ETL development (primarily SSIS but any other ETL tool is acceptable);
• ETL/SQL performance optimization skills;
• C# experience would be beneficial;
• Strong oral and written English communication skills, including presentation skills;
