Lead Java Developer

We are a large fast-growing IT outsourcing company with clear and simple processes. Right now, we are looking for Lead Java Developer to join our team.

We are looking for a Java developer to join as a Tech Lead our Admin Development team engaged in the development of internal enterprise applications on requests from the Company’s Top Management. Application description:

• Issue tracking application designed as a single point to assist employees in all offices of the company with requests they might have and address them respectively.
• Application which provides the company with a tool that automates office lunches ordering processes. The goals of the application are to simplify office managers daily routine creating menus, automate notifications for those who forget to vote for the lunch, to optimize expenses by ordering as many lunches with preferred options as requested by the employees.

• Perform team technical leadership;
• Lead the development process on the project;
• Decide on architecture including preparation of high-quality and detailed technical design;
• Decide on and implement development approaches;
• Decide on and choose a technical stack;
• Perform requirements analysis and technical investigations;
• Manage unit testing quality and coverage;
• Train developers on the work breakdown and estimation;
• Help with onboarding of developers and grow their technical skills;
• Review pull requests and provide feedback to ensure high quality;
• Make sure coding standards and best practices are followed;
• Modernize product tech stack and keep it in up-to-date state;

• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions using the Java technology stack;
• Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design;
• Understanding of standard software engineering best practices and methodologies;
• A2 level of English (sufficient for project documents reading and understanding);
• Experience using Agile methodologies;
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket;
• Experience in cloud services (as an advantage);
• Experience in microservices architecture (as an advantage);
